At Lauriann's STEM Club we want to help introduce young women to the careers available in the STEM field

We promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in schools through outreach activities, events and workshops. Based in Bexley in London, we work with local schools throughout the area and can provide virtual programmes and face to face events. We also deliver extracurricular workshops throughout the year.

Inspiring the younger generation to get involved with STEM

At Lauriann's STEM Club, we want to help narrow the gap between the number of men and the number of women who work within the STEM industries.

We aim to do this by encouraging young students, particularly those who are female or from minority ethnic backgrounds to pursue a career in science, technology and engineering. We promote diversity in these fields, and we want to present positive role models to help inform, inspire and motivate all students.

Lauriann's STEM Club is the brainchild of Lauriann Williams who is a passionate Civil Engineer who uses her own experiences to help support diversity in engineering. If you are a teacher, carer, parent or local business that want to get involved, please get in touch to find out more.
